Train and Partner With Us

Access a host of our professional development, learning, and partnership opportunities.

Learn strategies to make affordable housing a reality in your community through our online courses, peer learning cohorts, and research.

Online Trainings

Core Concepts and Developing a Strategy. This online training consists of two self-paced online modules. The first module, Core Concepts, reviews core concepts of housing affordability. The second module, Developing a Strategy, provides a more detailed overview of how localities can develop a more comprehensive local housing strategy to achieve their goals.

Access the modules here.

Peer Learning

Local housing policy officials and stakeholders in cities of 50,000 – 500,000 residents are encouraged to apply to and participate in our Peer Cities Network. Participants will have access to an ongoing national community of support, timely and practical data and policy resources, and information from housing experts to help them pursue equitable, evidence-based housing policies. You can read more about the application and selection process, the benefits of joining, and the regular activities of Network members here. The Lab also hosts shorter-term peer learning opportunities such as the Housing Solutions Workshop, which prepares leaders to undertake the development of a comprehensive local housing strategy, the Housing Solutions Bootcamp, and periodic convenings. Learn more about these opportunities here. Please email Director of City Engagement Jess Wunsch at jess.wunsch@nyu.edu with questions.
