Missoula is part of the Housing Solutions Lab’s 2022 Peer Cities Network. The Network meets regularly with peers in small and midsize cities for shared learning and problem-solving and serves to support city leaders as they design policies that address pressing housing challenges while advancing racial and health equity.

• This Housing Strategy Profile features Missoula, MT’s first comprehensive city-wide housing plan which focuses on four main policy areas (“Policy Action Areas”) to encourage production, preservation, and access to affordable housing.
• Our Housing Needs Assessment Tool shows that Missoula households headed by someone under 35 or over 85 are far more likely to rent.
