Ingrid Gould Ellen, who is the Paulette Goddard Professor of Urban Policy and Planning and Faculty Director at the NYU Furman Center, will host our next session on Thursday, January 11 starting at 12 p.m. This episode will focus on using local data about rental properties to inform policy and will feature a fireside chat with City of Oakland Project Manager Allison Pretto, who is managing the launch of Oakland’s rental registry in California.

Between November 2023 and August 2024, the Lab is hosting five mini-webinars to tackle topics related to using local data to inform housing policy. Each webinar will be held from 12 noon to 12:45 p.m. Tune into each session for a short presentation, a fireside chat with a city or housing authority partner about their experience with using or collecting local data, and plenty of time for a Q&A.
