The Housing Solutions Lab is delighted to announce city selections for the 2024 Home Repair Peer Network. With a focus on advancing equity, health, and opportunity, the Network brings together seven city teams to work towards advancing more equitable and effective home repair programs. Selected from over 40 applicants, participants include teams of city officials and nonprofit organizations from the following localities:
- Atlanta, GA
- Baltimore, MD
- Chicago, IL
- Detroit, MI
- Louisville, KY
- Philadelphia, PA
- Pittsburgh, PA
From April to June 2024, the Network will hold topical virtual sessions and convene in New York City for detailed action planning. Network participants will engage with peers in city government, policy experts, and technical assistance providers. Topics of focus include funding and sustainability, stakeholder coordination, program targeting and outreach, title and heir’s property challenges, equity strategies, and program evaluation.
In the coming months, the Housing Solutions Lab will share new resources and opportunities based on learnings from the Home Repair Network.
