NOTE: The application period for the Peer Cities Network is now closed. Please subscribe to our mailing list for updates on future opportunities with the Housing Solutions Lab. If you have a specific request for technical assistance or guidance, you can contact us at Ask the Lab.
The Housing Solutions Lab is now accepting applications from local housing policy officials and stakeholders in cities of 50,000 – 500,000 residents. Participants will have access to an ongoing national community of support, timely and practical data and policy resources, and information from housing experts to help them pursue equitable, evidence-based housing policies.
We encourage any U.S. city meeting the population criteria (50,000 – 500,000 residents) to apply. The cohort will support city leaders as they continue to respond to the housing crises posed by the COVID-19 pandemic while navigating evolving local and federal funding landscapes. The Network will also help participants address longstanding housing challenges that predate the pandemic, with a focus on leveraging housing policy as a platform to advance racial and health equity in cities. Cities will also have the opportunity to develop and hone their approaches to developing a comprehensive, balanced, and equitable housing strategy.
Applications are due by February 25, and you can read more about the application and selection process, the benefits of joining, and the regular activities of Network members here. Please email jess.wunsch@nyu.edu with questions.
