Syracuse was a part of the Housing Solutions Lab’s 2020-2021 Peer Cities Network. The Network brought housing officials and leaders from seven cities together to share information about how they were responding to the evolving COVID-19 pandemic and associated housing challenges.

Our Housing Needs Assessment Tool shows the increase in the share of rental vacancies in Syracuse by 60 percent since 2015, with a 10 percent rental vacancy rate as of 2020.
