Join the Housing Solutions Lab for a free, 45-minute lunchtime webinar, the fifth of our Data Talks series. This episode will focus on how communities can use code violation data, resident surveys, property inventories, and other local data sources to better understand housing conditions and inform home repair programs, tenant protections, neighborhood investment strategies, and other interventions.
Claudia Aiken, Director of New Research Partnerships, will host our next session on Thursday, June 13, starting at 12 p.m. Joining us for a fireside chat are Rico Razo, Chief of Home Repair and Neighborhood Services for the City of Detroit, and Isaac Robb, Vice President of Planning, Research and Urban Projects for the Western Reserve Land Conservancy (WRLC), who will share their experience with innovative ways to collect and use housing quality data at the local level.
Register below for Session 5 of Data Talks: Understanding Housing Quality to join the live session, where you will be able to ask the panelists your questions.
Between November 2023 and August 2024, the Lab is hosting a series of mini-webinars to tackle topics related to using local data to inform housing policy. Each webinar will be held on a Thursday from 12 noon to 12:45 p.m. Tune in for a short presentation, a fireside chat with a city or housing authority partner about their experience with using or collecting local data, and plenty of time for a Q&A.
